:In response to Patriotlad I would have to say first of all that I am sure that Debra Von Trapp is an honorable person however, if she made the claims represented in the previous article I am going to have to say that she is contributing to the many false conspiracy theories which have swept our nation in regard to the OKC bombing.
I am quite sure she surely would not be doing such merely for the purpose of spreading contention. It is quite likely that she believes for whatever reasons that her claims are fact.
However, Debra Von Trapp was not sitting around with the conspirators at the then existant Sante Fe Trail Diner in Herington Kansas in the days and weeks before the bombing.
Timothy McVeigh never went to her relaying stories of the horrors at Waco which he witnessed first hand alongside a group of spectators who had gathered to watch the events firsthand.
Timothy McVeigh never riduculed her for not being at Waco and for being too weak or stingy of a person to "take action."
I never heard of Robert Goetzman before the bombing as far as being a person connected with it.
I never heard anything about a Blue Death bomb either. I did however hear of a three door stainless steel military style refrigerator that was supposed to get loaded with explosives and delivered inside the target building. Again I plead ignorance to knowledge of the specific target and the specific date.
I was aware that there was talk of SFU going inside the target zone and laying preperations. That doesn't mean that the refrigerator idea ever came to fruition ( nor that the SFU ever took an active part in the action.)
I have no personal knowledge of just exactly what the specific plans entailed because during the last week or so before the bombing I was not active with the specifics.
Rumors which have since come back to me from some of the other participants in the conversations leading up to the conspiracy tell me that the extra leg did not belong to a black woman but rather to a male Mexican national whom we all knew, or possibly to his wife who was also a Mexican national. There is some conflicting statements there. Neither would preclude the fact that the two of them never returned here to Herington.
I doubt that Clark Fiester or General Proffitt II either one had any prior knowledge of the events to come as I never heard reference to either of those lately departed gentlemen from anyone within the group.
Certainly Debra Von Trapp had it correct when she stated that Tim was a patsy.
I can not follow a common belief that Janet Reno was solely responsible for what happened at Waco, although I do agree that she shares in and rightly does take responsibily for the massacre that occurred there.
A lot of the blame falls on the agents who followed illegal orders and did so knowingly.
Each of them likely had the option to not participate for various reasons. The rest of the blame falls on Janet Renos advisors. Remember that she was a nauive woman newly appointed to the post of Attorney General and her head was likely swimming in pride and self congratualatory ego and she was likely eager to please and thus was willing to make a big name for herself right off the start. Surely that contributed to her not questioning her advisors who were certainly far more experienced in dealing with Washington D.C. than was she.
Personally I am fed up with the attitude that many in the government and law enforcement agencies have displayed that they are above the law and I sure wasn't surprised when the judge at the Waco trials put 100% of the blame on the Dividians for the massacre that occurred there.
One thing the bombing in Oklahoma did show them is that they may be above the law because they cover each others ass but they are not above retaliation.
The agents and agencies that participated at Waco are to blame for what happened at Oklahoma City, and likely, in more ways then one.
I find it odd that the reporters who swooped into Herington immediately following the bombing were more concerned with trying to discover sources of finding so called illegal firearms. I have yet to discover what firearms had to do with the bombing, yet they wasted no time in Washington in putting even tighter restrictions on gun ownership. Legislators and reporters used the bombing as evidence that tighter gun control laws were needed.
Why is it that the media seemed to send the message that the innocent lives lost in Oklahoma City were more sacred than the innocent lives lost at Waco or Ruby Ridge?
If the judge at Waco can get by with putting 100% of the blame on the members of the compound for the massacre that occurred there then I can put 100% of the blame on the folks inside the Murrah building for the massacre committed there.
Afterall...they were federal workers and the children of federal workers. Surely that is as great of a crime as being a Davidian.
I hold this truth to be self evident; massacre of innocent persons is never a means of justice.
It was for that stated truth that I refused to participate in the bombing in Oklahoma City.
Folks I got to tell you, all you can do is speculate about what happened and who done it...I on the other hand was invited to participate.
I admit there are a lot of things about what happened that I do not know because of my refusal to participate, but certainly I have a better idea than do you or Debra Von Trapp or even any of the investigators and reporters that followed up the story.
I can't make claims to know every person that encouraged the action, but I do know that of those whom I am aware by one means or another did participate that I never saw or heard Terry Nichols participate in any of those discussions.
I was aware that Tim was at Terry's house a lot and that some of the out of towners that came in to help with the action did accompany Tim over to Terry's house. I have been made aware since the action that Terry provided storage space to Tim and maybe other encouraging actions.
Because Tim did not deliver his own getaway car to the scene I do have to suspect why the license tag was so loosely attached.
There is plenty of mystery surrounding the event even to insiders such as myself.
I can not claim to have all the answers and I am sure even Timothy McVeigh does not have all the answers.
Perhaps there is something to the saying that the answers can be found in Washington.
Isn't it time that we take our country back from the corrupt agents and officials that have stolen our country from us under the guise of leadership?
