Rayelan,

I talked with Jeff around 11:30am, and again at
5 pm EDT.

Still sounding tired, medicated, but making progress
as his face, and jaw continue to reduce so far as
the swelling is concerned.

Evidently they still have him hooked up by IV....
he believes it's Potassium Chloride. Says he would
love to have them discontinue the IV stuff.

Neither he or I are able to get an answer from
the Nusring Staff about a projected discharge
date for him.....and of course we can't even get
his MD to call me......g-r-r-r-r-r-r !!

He sounded pretty chipper during our morning
talk, but sounded a little down later in the day....
guess I would be to as this thing drags on....

They seem to have put him on solid foods from
this point on......got a regular breakfast again.....
meatloaf (he says that's what they called it anyway )
for lunch......and I believe somekind of chicken for
dinner last night.

Says it doesn't hurt to eat (course we don't know
what kind of pain medication he's on), but it's difficult
to "Open His Mouth"....they told him he was going
to have to exercise the jaw muscles back into shape.

.......funny.....you never really think about how
things work like your mouth until it "Don't Work".

Again....I would like to Thank Everyone for all
the moral support, get well messages & prayers.
