Rayelan,

Appears that Jeff will remain hospitalized longer
than initially anticipated.

Instead of possible release Tue/Wed., his MD's
are saying 2-4 days from today which is Monday
the 20th....... g-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r ..... would really
like him out sooner.

I personally feel people recuperate better at
home in familiar surrounds away from all the
erratic schedule, and germs in a hospital.

I've talked by phone with Jeff twice today
.....around 12:30pm.....again at 5:00 pm.....
letting him know that the email blessings, and
prayers continue to arrive at the rate of
30-100 each hour.

He's still to medicated for me to read more
than just a few at a time.....medication is making
it hard for him to focus much.

They actually let him have some solid food
this morning......scrambled eggs, bacon, and grits
......said it made him so happy he had tears in
his eyes.......hard to imagine something so small
making such an impact.....tells you how fragile
this experience has made him.....W-H-E-W !!!

They also failed to let him know his street
clothes had been put in the bottom drawer of
his bedside table......he thought he was stuck
with the silly hospital gown (no back, and drafty).
.....just another pleasant surprise that seemed
really important to Jeff.

I'm trying to get his MD to call me tonight for
some direct information on Jeff's status, but they
certainly make it hard to do by phone.....and of
course we have no car which makes it very
difficult to just go down to the hospital.

I will try to continue "Daily Updates" until we
can get him back home, and well on the way
to being his old self.

Please continue to keep him in your thoughts,
and prayers. You have no idea how appreciative
Jeff, and I are for everyone's flood of emotional
support.
