I just received the following from the older brother of one of our Agents.

I will NOT give away the Agent's pen name which is used on the Forum, but I will tell you that HE is THE ZAPPER! The one who keeps all the profanity, etc off the Forum!! -- Not Zapper2, but the ORIGINAL ZAPPER. He also is the fellow who figures out and fixes technical problems on the Forum!

Without his help, the Rumor Mill News Forum could not run as smoothly as it does!

Jeff was admitted to Grady Hospital Emergency Services

Saturday August 18, 2001 with a Severe abscess in the left
cheek, jaw, and throat originating with an impact on two
back molars earlier in the week. He was running a temperature
of 103.9 when checked.

He was operated on to remove two molars, excise the
abscess, and install drain tubes both in his mouth, and neck.
Operation took about 2 hours, 1 hour in recovery, then
moved to a room around 8:30 pm.

My daughter was kind enough to transport Jeff to
Grady, and stayed with us until Jeff reached his assigned
room. We stayed until he cracked his eyes, squeezed
his hand to let him know we had been there the complete
time, and left him a note on the bedside table to read
when he became coherent......probably sometime Sun.
or Monday.

They expect to keep him 2-3 days on Antibiotics,
and to insure drainage progresses......also, said something
about flushing the draining areas daily.

He looked pretty rough coming right out of recovery,
but hopefully that should improve rapidly with the pressure
relieved, and the infusion of antibiotics.

He had had a pretty rough week before this Saturday
with very little sleep.....liquids.....or solid foods. The last
few days were involved with trying hard to just cough,
swallow, or find a comfortable position to get any kind
of sleep.......the Boy was pretty darn miserable.

If everybody will send a few good thoughts, and
blessings his way.......maybe we can get him back
sooner rather than later.

Feel free to pass this update on to any other
contacts who know Jeff, and might be interested.
