Alex Collier, who presents a sincere and consistent history of contact with an advanced benevolent race he calls the Andromedans, says they are astonished by our capacity to create reality that remains in place when we remove our attention from it. In other words, when you come home from work, everything is as you left it, right down to the dirty dishes in the sink. This astonishes the aliens.
We also create "art"--music, painting, literature, etc.-- far more prolifically than any other race. Collier says we are galactic nobility who chose to come here long, long ago.
