US weapons of mass destruction are in the territory of a number of European countries, said Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, reports Sputnik.

Shoigu warned that around 200 US nuclear aircraft bombs are deployed in Europe.

On the territory of Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and Turkey are approximately 200 US nuclear aircraft bombs. Their modernization is anticipated said Shoigu, speaking at the collegium of the military departments. According to him, in different degrees of readiness are the 310 aircraft-carrier.

Defense Minister said that there is a continuing tendency of forcing the confrontation of the military-political situation in the world, particularly in Europe and Central Asia, and the Middle East.

"We are witnessing a consistent expansion of the NATO bloc. In a relatively short time it has expanded almost twice, getting 12 new members. Today to join the bloc are actively preparing Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia and Ukraine . Speaking of Syria, Shoigu said that there are about 60,000 terrorists and that there is a threat of their expansion in Central Asia. In doing so, he added, the Islamic State, controls 70 percent of Syrian territory.

Shoigu said the fact that the Russian air force in Syria carried out a total of 4,000 sorties on 8,000 facilities terrorists.
