Defining the term state in context of the American experience settles many issues.
State as used from day one denotes a political jurisdiction attached to the land area defined by metes and bounds. The two together, venue and jurisdiction over the venue defines the political state constructed by constitution.

Second point actually supports my premise that the characters are so full of themselves they think they can change the facts of the documents and the jurisdictions that provided them the right to act ignorant, just because it makes them feel better about claiming to be out of the clutches of the bogey man.
This leads back to the code defining National as a subject to the law of and over the land.
More to the point I am glad these characters are defining them selves as having no functional allegiance to the jurisdiction they live within. No matter what these characters beliefs do not alter or negate the law.

As I said originally these characters made them selves subjects and created a very very steep path to ever have full rights of a Citizen again.
The confession is that We the People and the governments We created are not good enough for them yet they will take what they can get from living here, while they run away from a Citizens responsibility to take care of our portion of what We the People created.
What creator is not responsible for what they create?

The bellow is a pretty good definition of Citizen, for most of the world.
In our country we the People grant life to governments. Our governments grant no rights to people like the majority of the rest of the world. Our governments have duties to We the People. In our country Citizenship is a birth right a private property recognized as sourced in Nature’s God and Laws of Nature. Only the owner of that property can screw it up and damage it, or give it up. Any one else tampering with that private property and attendant property rights is trespassing at the very least. TORT and SLAVERY apply.

Most Americans do not understand there are only two fundamental jurisdictions in our country.
The People’s original jurisdiction which is political and attached to our land. Supreme Law.
The administrative jurisdiction of the governments and all public servants serving the People’s original jurisdiction.
This is what the constitutions say when read as they are in the full context of perfected contracts.

A citizen is a participatory member of a political community. Citizenship is gained by meeting the legal requirements of a national, state, or local government. A nation grants certain rights and privileges to its citizens. In return, citizens are expected to obey their country's laws and defend it against its enemies.
