Hi, Charles -
I gather you're saying anyone using the term "American National" must necessarily be accepting a definition given to the term by public servants (e.g., legislators)...?
(I have seen "American National" as a choice on a governmental form. In my case, it was on a form to be filled out by those 'called' for jury duty at the county level.)
What specific documentation shows the term defined 'under' public servant function and purview?
If the term is not suitable for use, what would be your idea of how people no longer seeing themselves as 'citizens' of the US or of the United States should refer to their status?
