Raccoon in the house-you have no idea! A friend asked me to check on her cat while she was out of town, which seemed a minor request. Problem was: she had a cat door. Raccoons can fit through cat doors,rather easily actually.

Go to check on cat. The cat food can (like those big popcorn cans) was in the hall, contents spilled, and abandoned once the varmint realized the can would NOT fit through the cat door.No matter, just come back and snack whenever. But to get to the can, the varmint had to open a 9 foot tall SOLID walnut door. Like what gym did this animal use?

But no point in wasting a good house visit: the blasted thing had a garbage party. Again, opening a solid walnut door, and garbage all over the kitchen, everywhere.

There was no evidence of the toilet being flushed, but it would not have been a shock.

Cat door blocked off, vandalism repaired, never again. No cat doors ever. Fuzzy illegal aliens not welcome
