The adventures of Lynda and the Possum under the Christmas tree....to be continued! hahaha!

My cat brought a mouse in the house and put it in the bathtub where he played with it throwing it around while I searched for something to catch it in. I found a plastic container with a lid and scooped it out of the tub and took it outside, walked down the street and released it.

My cat jumped in the tub several times after that and kept looking for it.

A couple days later, he came running in past me but I didn't pay much attention. Later on I went in to the bathroom and found a dead mouse all chewed up lying in the tub...poor thing!

I tried!

I wish I would have taken pictures! Next time... the animal adventures continue!

: Last night was an adventure for sure. My boxer dog, Daisy,
: wanted to go out after dinner. After a few mins she was

: back at the door. When I opened it up she ran in with her
: head hanging down. It wasn't until she was well into the
: kitchen that I noticed something in her mouth. A POSSUM!

: After my stifled scream (yes, I admit it)I tried to get her to
: carry it back out the door. At first, I thought it was
: dead. But possums being possums I realized it was just
: 'playing possum' when it raised it head and looked at me.
: When it did, Daisy let it drop to the floor. Off it runs
: down the hallway and into my living room. Daisy was hot on
: its trail!! She wasn't trying to hurt it, I think she
: thought it was a puppy. It went under my Christmas tree!!
: How in the heck was I supposed to get it out of there??

: I texted my neighbors son to see if he would come over and
: help me herd it into a storage bin. THANK YOU TONY! He had
: just got off of work!

: I realize the Possum was more afraid of us than we were of it
: but it led us on a Merry chase around the tree. lol

: Later, Daisy snored as I watched Green Acre reruns and the
: tree..
