Probably true - however, that whole arrangement is resting on very thin ice in some ways.

Those folks who are running around referring to themselves as "the United States" are not the same thing as "the American people". Details of this mammoth sham are still coming to light but the short version includes:

(1) United States District Courts and District Courts of the United States are two entirely separate entities; which one you're standing in determines which rules will be followed.

(2) There's a jurisdictional overlay across the entirety of the physical American country, such that US jurisdiction and state jurisdiction appear to be in the same place - but they are exclusive jurisdictions for most purposes; if you're in one, you're not in the other (only nobody will tell you this).

(3) "State citizens" have certain unalienable rights; "federal citizens" have federally-protected civil rights.

(4) By a fault of wording and form, state citizens are disallowed from voting and from serving on juries, presently. (Said differently, they require that you swear you're a federal citizen before allowing you to vote or serve.)

(5) As PatriotLad frequently points out, ATTORNEYS and ESQUIRES are disallowed by the official and original Thirteenth Amendment which has never been repealed, just hidden. Imagine how spacious the halls of Congress would suddenly become if that Amerndment were enforced. :)

Comes down to this:

Whoever those guys were who put together the Declaration and the Constitution, they managed to construct a protective wall that has proven difficult for The Bad Guys to get around.

The Bad Guys have had to develop a massive chicanery in order to do it - and if it's ever sufficiently known by enough of the American people, there will, as they say, "be hell to pay" for sure - partly because the American people will realize, all at once, that they've been "made fools of", and nobody likes that. :)

Wanna help? Do this: Start making a very clear distinction in your mind (in your 'consciousness', for all you new age folks out there) between "America" and "the US". In practical day-to-day operation, thety are decidely NOT the same thing at all.

Why would it matter to clarify that distinction? Because, like most any one else, Americans dig in their heels a bit when they're told, "You ugly Americans have caused a lot of trouble, all over the world!" - when in point of fact, the vast majority of Americans are not who has done that, the US and its corporate constituents are the ones who have - and because of the chicanery, it _appears_ that the US has done this "in the name of the American people", but that isn't true.

If you go blaming "the people of the US" you push a button that tricks Americans who don't know about this double-jurisdictional distinction, into standing up for the US - which they wouldn't, if they knew about the distinction and realized "our" government has not been serving the people it rightly should serve.

But in the long run, it is _only_ "the American people" who are in position to set things to rights again in America, and so we don't wanna spur them into defending "the US" - that only prolongs their awakening-in-full.

The clearer we can get this distinction in our minds and the minds of those we talk with, the easier it becomes for the Americans to catch sight of the mammoth trick that's been played on them, and to awaken into action.
