If we are to be the lifeboat -- then its just another reason I'm
glad to be an Aussie. ;-)

On a more serious note, there are several things that convince me that there is something to it.

1. The massacre at Port Arthur by Martin Bryant -- either a MC patsy, or just a patsy -- resulted in the confiscation of all firearms apart from single shot bolt action rifles.

2. Post offices, Telecom (was state owned telecommunications, now

49% privatised) buildings & Masonic Halls are all located on

major throroughfares, on bends & with high, overlooking windows.

3. The placement, about 2-3 years ago, of large concrete 'flower pots' on the sides of the roads near the abovementioned buildings all over Sydney. There are never any large shrubs in them, just perrenial flowers --- these things would weigh about 1.5 tons with the soil in them.

4. The RMC buildings. About 10-15 years ago, a number of these gigantic buildings were built -- there is one about 2kms from

where I am now. They are supposedly Telstra(Telecom) resource

management centres but they have the most incredible security,

camera turrets, triple barbed wire & guards with SMG's.(Only found out about the guards with smgs when I put on my old skater clothes, grabbed a mate, & went round the back of the building on our skateboards, 'looking for some good terrain')

I have never seen, or even heard of, guards using SMGs in this

country. (others have researched this, also)

Anyway, the Aircraft Carrier USS Constellation(Connie) is in the harbour at the moment -- US flags up on all the shops in the cross (Kings Cross), which will be awash with white bell-bottoms for the weekend...........well, our girls love it.(some of our boys too I suppose)
