I probably should ignore this attack and the one on your post below, but you reveal so much about yourself by doing it. Unfortunately, it is exactly what I would expect from someone addicted to Catholicism. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. Some of my family is, like you, still stuck in the idea of their horrible Sinning Souls. It took me years to unlearn this wicked piece of programming and uncurl its winding strictured fingers from around my Heart so that it could at last learn to love without FEAR; enjoy with sin; to KNOW that I had within me the ability to discern the TRUE right and wrong imbued in us by Nature, our natural ability removed from us by insidious Catholic programming.

And YES, Constantine DID create Catholicism. He had the help of his powermongering aids however. I'd be happy to send you the historical quotes and references. But, of course, that's right: without the 'imprimatur' in the front of the books, you're not allowed to read them. Oh, they were clever, this Church of yours.

Indeed, while you sit there expounding the horrors of abortion , I can only sadly laugh at your self-righteous ignorance of the REAL HORRORS perpetrated on mankind throughout the ages in the name of the Roman Catholic Church. As hideous as abortion may be in your eyes, it pales in comparison to one of the Church's favorite pasttimes. The Pope really hated the Cathars because they believed that women were equal to men and they believed that Mankind should think its own thoughts and keep its own counsel through his creativity. Okay, they had some other weird ideas, but they did not foist them on others who were not interested...unlike the Catholic Church. To scare the faithful flock from being attracted to the freedom espoused by Catharism, whenever the Pope 'caught' one, he would have their stomachs carefully cut open so they wouldn't die immediately, one end of the instestine nailed to a tree and then the hapless Cathar would be chased around the tree until he fell over dead.

When your 'loving' Catholic Pope sent his army to decimate Southern France where the Cathars mostly lived, someone pointed out that he just might kill some of his own people in the process of ridding himself of the extraordinary open society of the Cathars, he said, 'Kill them all, let god sort them out.' In the process he destroyed one of the most civilized, open societies in Europe.

But then, with the imprimatur rule in place, it is a mortal sin to read a book without the church's express permission. Indeed, one could NOT read the Bible without a priest standing next to you interpreting it for you. In this manner, Catholics never knew what horror had been perpetrated in the name of their Religion.

I don't need you to tell me to 'get over my childhood' and take responsibility for myself as you did in the post following this one. I did that long ago. That is WHY I am no longer a Catholic. And as for your comment about Not killing god, every Catholic was taught that Original Sin was conferred upon him by the very nature of his birth. And Original Sin was the fact that he had put Christ on the Cross because Christ had to die for 'our' sins...sins which the baby hadn't even committed yet!

Get Over It? I AM OVER IT! And I will spend the rest of my life and every succeeding life holding the door open to any others who are looking for a way out of the misery. That, YOU and the Church may depend on! Just call me the Alcoholics Anonymous version of Recovering Catholics.

P.S. I don't suppose you realize that it is the VERY Babylonian based Organization of the Catholic Church under the auspices of the Jesuits and their current Black Pope who are at the very foundation of the New World Order. Do some serious research into the Knights of Malta and the whole thing begins to unravel. Their fickle fingers entwine everyone from the Rotschildes to the CIA and beyond.
Of course, there is that 'imprimatur' thing again...(sigh)
