ah well; i'd hoped to provoke more discussion than was produced, but i think the readers and contributors received their fill last time. still, i managed to bait at least one stalwart follower of Dr. Chiappalone, who fended my mild criticism of the doctor's essays with sub-venomous acridity.

i never made any criticism as to the validity or accuracy of Chiappalone's claims, choosing to leave that estimation to the individual reader. i only disputed his approach, which is to present his claims (true or not) as fact, and then, only to the enlightened, neglecting the questioning masses of people who might wish to be cured of 'Endtime Sickness.'

as an aside, certain of us who suffer from this malady have the unfortunate habit of subjecting to skepticism and scrutiny each new explanation for the degradation of affairs on Earth; our particular strain of endtime sickness has the unusual side-effect of immunizing us to the gullibility that afflicts many Americans.

as a revered respondent observed, there would be no point for repeated writings, each of which reinforces a truth that (as Pace claimed) adherents to nous would already know. then again, pious church-goers must get their weekly fix of sermonizing served directly from the pulpit through one of god's chosen messengers, so maybe there is a need for constant reinforcement. {let's raise an offering...} maybe the rest of us had better get working toward building a connection to nous, and the truth of Dr. C's claims will become self-evident.
