Within ten minutes of my having posted an RMN article on healthy diet and lifestyle this afternoon, I phoned an RMN reader who had just purchased my company’s Silver 100 ionic silver complex through finding it on RMN and we had a long talk about helping with his health.

He suffers from chronic constipation. He said he was told it was caused by a lower spine issue from when he was a teenager (he’s far from being a teenager now).

I said, “Don’t tell me. Let me guess. The person who told you that was a chiropractor, am I right?”

“Well, yes,” he said. “It was. Because they would know about these things.”

“No,” I said, “that’s not how I see it. When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.”

Then I explained I have extensive experience in holistic health and have studied and practiced for decades in the areas of spinal alignments, joints, nerves, energy flow, etc, mostly from masters of Chinese/Taoist arts, and I’m also extremely well trained and experienced in diet and holistic health and healing in general.

I told him I didn’t think it had anything to do with the spine. It has to do with diet and lifestyle! I explained that it’s very dangerous to have chronic constipation, and it’s very easy to remedy it.

I told him to be eating a mostly freshly made raw and cooked plant-based diet, do walking, drink plenty of good water throughout the day, sleep at night, eat in the daytime, do very gentle stretching, and do stress-reduction practices.

And I suggested he take magnesium, and perhaps also vitamin C. I pointed out that magnesium is the most commonly recommended supplement by health professionals and is also the best remedy for constipation besides of course a healthy diet and lifestyle. In fact, with magnesium, the recommended amount to take is often “to bowel tolerance” which of course means until you have loose stools.

I said, “Drink plenty of water every day, take a walk for about forty-five minutes four or five days a week, and take about four hundred milligrams of magnesium once or twice a day, and tell me if you still have constipation after a few days.”

And of course I told him of the remarkable coincidence that he was sharing this with me not more than ten or fifteen minutes after I had posted an article on Rumor Mill about healthy diet and lifestyle, which addresses the solution for constipation and so much more very artfully. I sent him the link to that post.
