Iran-Israel War: Iran's Allies Prepare to Hit 200,000 Missiles
The Iran-Israeli war began, and this was a logical development of the months-long confrontation in the Middle East. The massive strike by Iran and its proxies on Israeli soil on Sunday night was the largest since drone strikes on Saudi Arabian refineries in 2019 and 2020 strikes on Iraqi air bases housing US troops.

The role of proxy forces
For years, Iran has operated against Israel through its proxy forces, paramilitary groups from Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen. The most effective of them turned out to be the Lebanese Hezbollah, which directly borders Israel and has the ability to shell the entire territory of the country. After the 2006 Lebanon War, Hezbollah significantly improved its military capabilities and accumulated from 120 to 200 thousand missiles (mostly short-range missiles), which will allow it to bombard Israeli territory for several months.

"Land Weapons Bridge"
One of the key factors contributing to Iran’s growing influence in the region was the creation of the so-called “weapons land bridge” connecting Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. This corridor allows Iran to freely move weapons, ammunition and military specialists, strengthening the position of its proxy forces.

Israeli reaction
The Israeli leadership will not stand aside from what is happening and, without a doubt, will respond to Iran's night raid. The targets for this have already been identified, and Tel Aviv will likely seek to strike key infrastructure facilities of Iran and its proxy forces. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has already warned of clashes that could trigger a regional war.

The aggravation is growing
