The other day, my friend Ric sent me a concerning message about how big tech is trying to run him out of business.

Many of you are familiar with Ric's brand: Mic-Lock.

They sell webcam covers, microphone blockers, as well as many other gadgets that protect your privacy...

Ric has been selling these products for many years on his website, and also on Amazon.

Recently he received an email from Amazon where they said that soon they will not let him sell any of his products on their platform anymore.

This was a huge blow to Ric, because this is one of his biggest streams of revenue for the business.

So, you might be wondering, why would Amazon ban his company from selling on their platform?

To me, it's clearly because they do not want people to have access to his gear. Amazon wants to capture as much of your data as possible.

So having these products available on their website goes directly against their predatory business model.

Regardless of why it's happening... it is. And I know this is concerning for Ric.

It's scary, because these big tech companies are targeting companies like him. And that always feels like a losing battle.

But I don't feel hopeless, because I see how strong and wonderful the freedom community is.
