As for vitamins, it is very important what kinds of vitamins you buy. You have to make sure that they are natural and from whole foods, not synthetic. Vitamins that you get at Walmart, the grocery store, the drugstore, etc. are synthetic and really don't help. Popular brands such as Centrum, One-a-Day, etc., are all synthetic.

It's best to go to a health food store to get your vitamins but, even then, read the label, and ask questions to make sure, because even health food stores can have synthetic vitamins.

One overall whole foods supplement that I take and swear by is IntraMax. The downside is that it is very pricey and nowhere can you find a discount, and this is because the manufacturer will not allow it. But it has everything you need and more. On occasion, I run out and I feel the difference.

Also, it is important to take probiotics daily, or eat fermented foods daily. Healthy bacteria in your gut does so much to bring us back to health.
