So we are led to believe that the early christians got it all wrong, and willingly went to their deaths to support a lie....These same disciples, that fled their Lord, denied him, and wouldn't show their faces....suddenly gained the necessary courage to shout from the roof tops His resurrection. James, the brother of Christ, who denied his own brother, and hung out with the Pharisee's would later be thrown from the rooftops because of his belief in the resurrected Jesus.

The Talmud (The Traditions of the Elders) records Jesus Christ's miracles as true, with the twist that Christ was a magician/sorcerer. No one ever spoke like Him, before or since. He claimed authority.

Paul, who is being groomed to be the head Pharisee, is chief of executioners of the Christians. He gleefully and self righteously inflicts his will upon the Christians.....only to have Jesus appear before him, asking why he torments others so.....willingly go to his death proclaiming Christ as Lord. Proclaiming all that is written and spoken by an apostle as true and of God. Both Paul and Peter are recorded as raising the dead in Acts. The Jews of the time never denied that claim...or the claim that the risen Christ appeared to 500 others.

Christ's most vicious opponents never disclaimed His works/healings/miracles. The reason being is Jesus' works were witnessed by thousands of people. Christ's miracles were of huge public demonstration, nothing hidden behind curtains, but witnessed by thousands. To deny Christ's miracles at that time was to be laughed off the stage.

There is a great parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man. The wealthy one asks Abraham to go to his brothers and tell them the truth. Abraham replies that even if someone was to come back from the dead that they still would not believe....The whole thread of Christianity hangs on Christ coming back from the dead. The Jews did not deny the resurrection. But they attributed it to Demons and magic. They wrote it all down.....in the Talmud.

Is one to believe that God is so powerless He couldn't get a book out that was the truth? That it was fudged? A conspiracy? The whole idea is that man cannot live up to the law of spirit, and never has. Hence, it is only thru grace that we carry on. This is the never ending message of our sordid history.

All roads are open to investigation. I suggest one read the Yale and Harvard Proof (meaning: without error) of Dr. Ivan Panin's work on the Bible. Panin was an atheist, nihilist and evolutionist, as well as a mathematical genius, and scholar of the dead languages ( Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Syriac, etc.).

As hard as it is to believe, the Resurrection and Bible have more evidence to support it than any other ancient work. Any archaeologist of the 20th century will attest to its accuracy. There is nothing more mind blowing than to come back from the dead. Those very words, back from the dead, create a cognitive dissonance that defies belief.
