Chapter 4

1. Space, where all things exist, is the womb of creation, the container of life and all living. Space is without mind and will, yet within, energy gathers and forms, and Intelligences are “born” and grow and mature, and today, like ages past, new Intelligences find their place in the creative process, and many of them have come to earth today to increase their knowledge and understanding.

2. Many Intelligences preceded man and “gods” and have added to themselves knowledge, understanding and wisdom through experiences.

3. These Intelligences of old some men call God or Gods, and rightly so, for knowledge and understanding gives power and claims authority. They are forces to be reckoned with.

4. As Intelligences grow and mature they discover the laws of nature–how energy interacts and is acted upon–and they use their power to create.

5. And as it is written, “As one man is more intelligent than another, and another more intelligent than him, God (the ‘God or gods’ of old) are more intelligent than them all.”

6. The evolution of Intelligences is an “eternal” process, as eternal as creation itself, a never-ending cycle of increasing power and dominion, and man is in the process.

7. It is written, “As above, so beneath,” and as man grows from childhood to adulthood on earth, so does he in worlds and dimensions beyond man’s current understanding and perception.

8. Nothing is hidden from man. As soon as his consciousness can embrace new understanding, it comes to him without hindrance, and as it is written, it comes “Line upon line, precept by precept, here a little, there a little”.

9. Ye are gods indeed, the very creations of life itself, and your destiny is boundless.
