Blame The Victim---Another Example of a Sick Society
I have to agree with Lymerick on this aspect. None of us on this planet are perfect; that is a given.
Yet, that doesn't mean we wake up and say oh boy I want a disease to screw my life up for me or to teach me how to be a better person. As soon as the organized medicine begins to treat Lyme, Morgellons and the like in the fashion needed to cure and acknowledge it (where they make more money from it)then the attitude will change.
Here is a video for you that hits a home run in the regard of this BS attitude that blames the victim. Why can't those that don't have these conditions understand that as Lymerick stated, this is the perfect math skill to get rid of a whole loft of folks and have them take the blame for it.
This would be like going to court to defend yourself against a charge of murder and saying: I picked up a gun and blew his brains out and he asked for it, so I'm not guilty or held accountable.
Or if you like: A man poisons his wife and says it is her fault because she didn't do what I wanted. She stayed home and was a good mom instead of out raising hell with me like I wanted. So I poisoned her and it is her fault.

Here is that video ( I do think it is contagious (not casual contact unless via water from what I have noticed, involvement of bodily fluids):
Come on folks, start looking at all the problems in a logical fashion, use the evidence and ask yourself, what if it was me?
I actually thought if people would take better care of themselves they wouldn't get this crap. That was before a blood transfusion I hadn't planned for. Does blaming the victim take away the need to help the victim? Take away the compassion? Does that make you feel better about yourself?
Many folks are athletes who may party a little but spent most of their time getting and staying healthy. Often, when you put that much effort in; any amount of negative is hard to put upon oneself.
Think about it, use your brain and your heart, Dare to Be Human.
