But if he was born Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, where did the name Michael Joseph Hall come from?

Michael Zehaf-Bibeau name was first made public by CBS News, by the way of U.S. Intelligence sources, who had been in contact with the Canadian counterparts. The same U.S. Intelligence sources also say he may have been born as Michael Joseph Hall.

I still go with the first witnesses, who say they saw two shooters get out of the brown, unplated Toyota just before the shooting of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo at the War Memorial. The same witnesses also say the shooter was armed with a double-barreled shotgun, but the Ottawa police say the shooter that was killed was armed with a 30-30 lever action rifle, which seems to be what is shown in the Twitter photo.

Just before the 'shoot-out', notice how in the video the Parliament Building security advance towards the 'shooter' without all the swat style gear. I believe that in the video we looking towards the Center Block doors. Only after all is done do you see photos of the military style swat police out and about, supposedly looking for a second shooter.

I be amazed, but maybe I should not be, that they would put out that photo of Michael Zehaf-Bibeau holding a rifle so fast, saying that it came from an ISIS twitter account, looking just the same as the shooter in the first news reports. I mean, it gives that feeling of contrived manifestation.

Ottawa shooting: How events unfolded

Notice that “some eyewitnesses say a grey Toyota Corolla without front or back licence plates was parked on Wellington Street in front of Parliament Hill. Some witnesses said they saw two shooters emerge from the vehicle”.

Scott Walsh was on Wellington Street, in front of the Parliament buildings. He said he saw a man with "a scarf, long black hair -- he was wearing blue pants and a black jacket and he had a double-barrelled shotgun -- and he ran up the side of this building here and hijacked a car at gunpoint."

Alain Merisier, a cafeteria worker on Parliament Hill, said he saw a man drive up to the Hill in a black Chrysler and enter Parliament armed with a hunting rifle. The man's description matches Walsh's.
Another witness said the RCMP were in pursuit of the man with the rifle.
Witnesses said a shooter entered the Centre Block through the main door, which usually has two guards. One of the witnesses is NDP press secretary Greta Levy. She said the gunman was two or three metres away when he passed her "just walking," and with "his face uncovered" on his way to the Centre Block doors.

Yes, what about those two guards who are usually at the main door of the Center Block? Was one of them shot?
