So here is my response. The following is from a 1988 biochemistry book from Mrs.Fusion's graduate school days, "Biochemistry - Third Edition" by Lubert Stryer, a very famous textbook. I am posting a high-res color scan from page 857. Note that the figure depicting the assembly of the T4 bacteriophage cites a book from 1973.
