Why did my medical records come into this?

It's because I hadn't posted on eBay in a long time. I told them I had been sick. I had pneumonia. I still have a black spot on my lung.

They demanded to see my medical records. I told them I needed to contact my hospital to see the days I was in. They said that after they reviewed them (or words to that effect, they had told me earlier that they were recording the telephone call...) they would get back to me with their findings.

They will probably sue me for posting this... but to the best of my knowledge and belief, since I didn't record the call, what I am posting is the way it was.

They gave me a number to call them back so I wouldn't have to go through the usual long hold time, and I would be directed to the proper place.

Depending on the kind of trouble they can cause me, I won't post the number here.

I spent hours looking for my medical record file. If I had found it, I am sure I would have sent it to them.

While searching for it, I became increasingly disturbed by the way I had been talked to by one of their higher-up employees, who seemed to revel in my distress. Granted, the higher ups in ownership of eBay couldn't possibly know how all of their employees treat their customers.

Many longtime readers remember when I sold things on RMN. As soon as I check with Zapper and find out if that RMN Auction still works, I will let you know when I start selling from there. I am also looking for stores and other sites that wish to buy a very large inventory of high quality dishes and other things readers have sent me over the years and I have found at yard sales.
