One thing is clear - the police suspects of today are adopting a no-holds-barred policy of total resistance to law enforcement officers in many cases. This editor had already listed some examples, but no sooner did those occur than another tragic death has happened, this time in New Orleans, Louisiana. It was reported that a suspect who was being transported somehow got a gun and moved toward the driver area in front area of vehicle and shot the transporting officer to death.
This editor is thinking the suspect may have had the weapon hidden inside his body somewhere. In another similar incident somewhere else a suspect shot someone with a gun that had been hidden in the rectum, according to an account. Guns can be very small in single-shot versions and there are also tiny revolvers that can fit in the palm of the hand.
Today's suspects in the U.S. would only go willingly to jail if they believed there was an honest court system awaiting them and there are not honest court systems. They know that. Also, the aftermath of a sentence to prison is something that many of them just will not accept, considering stale fluoridated water, gang-rape, gang-assaults, and other bad conditions. Too many suspects have died at the hands of police while in the back of police cruisers while others who were unarmed were murdered by cops.
