The law and political documents particularly treaties are always specific and grammatically correct.

Those relying on the confusions between ‘the’ and ‘The’ to differentiate or define legal or political entities seem to forget that both the and The are, “used as a function word to indicate that the following, ‘United States of America’, noun or noun equivalent is definite or has been previously specified by context or circumstances”. That’s Merriam-Webster’s, which certainly seems to destroy Anna’s bogus claim that a capital letter or lower case letter defines different legal entities or jurisdictions.

Declaration refers to ‘the united States of America’. Not yet a country. A concept of a hoped for country. First identification of States of America. Not then recognized by any other nation.

Confederation sets the style of the Confederacy as ‘The United States of America’. This Confederacy is a ‘perpetual Union between the states…’. Not then recognized by any other nation.

1783 Treaty of Peace, Definitive, is competed under the political jurisdiction of the Confederacy. Recognized as a nation with Sovereigns so King George would not be in breach with is fellow Royals agreements to limit treaties to nations such as them selves, the Sovereigns over their lands and properties both real and chattel.

1789 Constitution preamble recognizes ‘the United States of America’ as the legal and political jurisdiction nation recognized by other nations.

‘The’ is used to define nouns such as the thing, the name of our country. The United States of America.

Anna; Read the freaking documents for clarity and precision required by law, and particularly political jurisdictions creating nations. Then reference to grammar and dictionary sources will clear up confusions. Is that too hard to do and does it interfere with your pontificating?

So, Anna please give us, those not as X-Pert as you, the reasons, backed up with public record documents, you claim the way the word ‘the’ is spelled identifies different countries, jurisdictions, political or legal persons.

Oh yah, Anna, show me or any one the authority in the legislative section of the Constitution where the United States Government, is authorized to creat a corporation!!!
The states hold the exclusive rights to create corporations.
Read their constitutions.
The states did not grant that power to the national government when they created it. See Article VII.
Show me the corporate charter, what jurisdiction issued the charter to who under what application and identification of the applicants and later identification of its management and stake holders.
