With the ammo shortages nationwide, the COST of a new gun (used guns are illegal to buy and sell between citizens in most states nationwide including my own Washington State that had the most liberal gun laws in the nation only 10 years ago).

The shear fact that ammo is EXPENSIVE and weighs a ton, having 3 guns is just bad advice.
Try to find AMMO in your town.. then get back to me about having 3 guns...

ONE GUN is all the average "prepper" needs or can actually support nowadays.
Pick you favorite rifle and ammo up.
Preferably in the venerable 30.06 caliber.
Pistols are worthless in a SHTF scenario.
Don't even bother.

I have a Browning BAR Safari semi-auto rifle in 30.06.
IT is my ONE GUN and I have shot and owned hundreds over the years.

There will be no "game" to hunt, anywhere, so forget that BS!
Your GUN and AMMO should be saved to protect yourself by KILLING bad people.
Not imaginary deer.

Keep in mind that the average "prepper" will not get 10 shots off in a hostile environment before getting killed.
Even a trained Marine like myself probably wont live to fire 50 rounds when the SHTF.
There will be TOO MANY ENEMIES to FEND OFF.
THAT is reality.
