i really do not blame people for their hope ... witness the popularity of
hair-growth products, penile dysfunction products, fad diets, pharmaceutical
products, muscle-building products, lottery ticket sales, ponzi schemes, multi-level
marketing programs, etc - we seem to be a culture which believes in the "quick fix"
- disregarding the adage: "if it is too good to be true, it probably is not" ...
people prefer the easy way, they do not want to work hard for desired results ... so
much so, that they cannot seem to give up on an idea even when it is shown to be
flawed or results are not as claimed ... it is too bad that we are distracted by

these things instead of doing the soul-work necessary for our
growth/advancement/evolution ... very sad, indeed
