I've been into herbal/natural medicine for 50 years, and have had persistent sores for months that were quickly cured with honey, esp manuka (tree tea flower) honey, unheated & unfiltered of course. Honey is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and is an anti-inflammatory, worth a cheap no-doctor try.
