I'm an electronics tech who fixes stuff and I have SOME engineering skills as well. If I could just see what he has cooked up I could maybe help but ... I get ZERO response from the guy ??? I'm pretty damned good with audio stuff being a sound engineer for many many years and can fix this junk !

Well lo & behold I have one to fix ... I thot my Roland TR-707 was hard enough to fix and least that one is digital.

Happy to say my TR-707 is working just fine again.
