FWIW, I didn't feel he was _that_ perplexed, and it sounds like he expects more info momentarily from DC and from the usual flood of info that comes in after Monday's call.

This has to be the worst TNT call I've heard to date. Tony sounds as perplexed as the rest of us and that isn't good.

It was very short and Tony seemed distraught with no further intel to offer as to why this RV process is still being held up. No one on the call had the fortitude to ask who was stopping it or even who wasn't stopping it or wasn't standing in the way.

Is it a electronic transaction problem? How can Iraq still be partly RV'd within sections of their country with a revalued currency and yet other parts of it not? How can those two anomalies co-exist in the same country at the same time?

On the last call it was supposed to be in the IMF and BIS hands as to why it was in limbo so, is it still in their hands? And if so, why hasn't there been any progress since last Wed.?

What would be the calculated odds if you were to flip a coin well over 100 times and it never ended up heads? That's about the same odds that one could calculate with the Iraqi Dinar being revalued over the last 10 months.

Tony and DC said several times the revaluation has been that close for well over 100 times. And yet still no RV?

I'd classify that as a miracle. It's not the sort of miracle we often think of but given the astronomical odds of what has already transpired, it qualifies as a miracle.

And as each day that passes by without an RV we keep witnessing that miracle getting more and more improbable, and yet it does.

Who is it that is willing flush 10 months of progress in Iraq by continuing to deny Iraq a revalued currency?

Who could be that reckless and uncaring?

If Tony or DC knew, they sure won't be telling you or I about it but I can't see it being Abadi or Iraq for that matter. They have everything to lose and nothing to gain by holding it off.

So who does has something to gain?
