(I believe you've set up a 'straw man argument', there. I don't think anyone's suggesting in any way that the good outweighs the bad. I think the comparison itself is odious. I think it's mistaken to believe America's actions gave rise to communism and socialism. You recognize that an elite drove those actions; there's ample reason to believe the same elite directly spurred the rise of communism and socialism, both of which are actually about a centralization of power into the hands of a few.)

This is why in general, the American Psyche is very Self-Centered and myopic. To think what 'good' it has done outweighs the 'bad' is ludicrous. It's not just the slavery in south or wiping out of Native Americans, It's also the meddling of the affairs into the numerous countries around the world.

This is the reason communism/socialism came to be (as we know it) - as a response to American Capitalism/Colonization; America being a main instrument for the 'Elite' of the world to control, influence and dominate what and what does not happen around the world.
