I myself am a victim of a sexual attack and being beaten.. (Just this side of actual rape).. Did I tell my parents? No. Why? Because I was young and more worried that I'd get in trouble for being at a party instead of at the Library studying .. I was 5'1" and almost 105 lbs. He was on the football team. .. I DID tell my best friend who was there with me and she told some of the guys who were in our group. They took this other boy outside and beat the crap out of him. Was that enough? No..

Estimates are that 25% of females are victims of sexual attack and or abuse. I think that number is a lot higher. Closer to 50% of females have been groped, fondled, kissed and more without their permission.

Still, this Blasey event is something that happened 40 years ago. Did it happen? Only those two know the story. It can never be fully judged upon because there is no tangible-forensic proof. Either way the left wins.

Dr. Ford is both a professor and a researcher. NLP, developing modalities and therapies; scientifically demonstrating *what* is a successfull protocol versus what is *not* , absolutely falls within her professional domain and purview.

I'm bothering to respond to this because the piling on....based solely upon party lines , does such a disservice to our humanity and to her. I have significant experience with male and female trauma victims. Sexual assault and other deeply personal traumas. The hyperbole, rhetoric regarding the Kavanaugh matter is setting us back 50 years. The truth will *out*. Until such a time ? It would be great to not fabricate reasons to project nefarious motives upon her by stretching credible thought. The venom which has been directed at her , here, all across the web is striking. To see it go unchallenged serves no human interest. I wrote Hobie and email regarding this last week. He chose to ignore it. I get it. This said ? I hope that you make a different choice. Kavanaugh does reveal some pathology. I won't flesh *that* out . This said, this is a difficult process for all involved- it should not be treated like chum for the sharks. FWIW ... I am a registered Independant.
