Thanks P. Yes, in total agreement here! . When I was very young and naive (right out of High School)I was head over heels in love and married to a man who shone like the sun to others (and initially to our family) while he did the most awful deeds behind our backs. Lying, Cheating, stealing, dealing, manipulating and much, MUCH worse.. In my mid 20's I 'grew up' and could see him for what he was. A narcissistic, predator-psychopath who's honeyed words of apology and undying love meant as much to me as they did to him.. nothing..

As for your mentioning 'Killing': The final straw was when I calmly asked him where he was going (because I no longer believed his tales and he knew it) he equally as 'calmly' walked over to our gun rack, took down a shot-gun aimed it towards my mid-section from 6 feet away. At that moment I was holding his 15 month old daughter and was 6 months pregnant with our son.. I slowly backed out of the room, fled from the house and never turned back. Threatening to kill me was one thing, threatening to take us all out was.. well, it's still hard to put into words.

It wasn't until a few years after I divorced him that I found out the depth of the depravity of his world .. My 'soul' knew even if I didn't have all the facts.. Trust your inner being people!!

How do you think they get and stay as far as they do?

First they charm you, then they seduce you, then they trap you, then you are OWNED, and then u are their slave and if you cross them THEY WILL KILL YOU...or rather, instruct someone else to kill you, destroy you, or your loved ones. In truth, the ones who are good and kind and tell you the absolute truth-if that truth does not match your fantasy's about what that truth is-you will experience what is called "cognitive dissonance" and will feel confused, sick to your stomach, scared, angry, and you will tend to project blame on the person telling you not just their truth but THE truth and you will want to hit them and run, someway somehow--that is the sad truth--now who feels sick to their stomach, angry, scared, and want to deck me???---My point EXACTLY.
