Actually, the Pole Shift began some time ago. Since this process is not specifically recorded in our history, there is a lot of looking at the numbers and then 'guessing' what might happen. Apparently the 'Shift' is occurring slowly, though it is expected to build up in speed as Chandler's Wobble expands.

In Michael Mandeville's earlier predictions, he suggested that it would actually begin in earnest in March. And begin to slip with increasing speed over the next many months to two years(?). He mentioned that June 21 would be an important 'window' and that October-December timeframe would contribute mightily to the process. But no one knows for certain. I for one, have great respect for those who DARE to put out their predictions in the face of such uncertainty. It takes undaunted courage to face the most certain criticism that will follow.

I post the Pole Shift information for this reason: When I read the HORRIFIC stuff being planned by those who hold the reigns of power on this planet, I can get pretty depressed. It seems pretty much THEM against US. Then the Earth pops up and says: "Hey, have you forgotten about me?" She IS, after all, the Main Player in this Cosmic Dance. What I find encouraging is that she is also the UNKNOWN quantity and she, along with her Cosmic brothers and sisters, can come along and squash the 'bad guys' with her 'big toe' like you and I would squash an ant.

And since Consciousness itself is the Earth's ticket into the Cosmic Party being thrown in Her Honor, there is a pretty good chance that she is going to wipe away the 'bad guys' and provide a helping hand to that aspect of herself (hopefully most of us) that she feels good about. Kind of like what happens when a doctor cuts away a tumor (Powermongering/greed is a big cancer!).

I look at the Pole Shift as Mother Earth Giving birth to a New Time, with AWARENESS being the 'baby'. Personally, I find great HOPE in the Pole Shift. Whether it happens with a cataclysmic BANG! or continues along the slow road will, I think, depend greatly on how many of us 'wake up' along the way. So, in a way, we become the 'Midwives' to the Planet. In fact, there are a whole host of very aware people aiding this process on purpose. (For instance, check out Jose Arguelles and the Mayan Dreamspell) We can be very thankful. These kinds of Realized Souls are the ONLY reason it has all happened so slowly and carefully thus far.

LoriLynn, it comes down to this: I would a thousand times rather face the natural process of Pole Shift and whatever disaster it may bring, than I would the jack-booted mnemonic thugs knocking on my door and removing the last vestiges of my personal liberties. I also realize that the more people that become aware of it, the more partake in the process...thus the postings themselves help create this reality.
