Rumor Mill News Made a Mistake!!!

It is not often that we, at Rumor Mill News, make a mistake of this magnitude. But from time to time, every news outlet flubs up. Most of the major newspapers and magazines will issue their corrections in a tiny little column published in some obscure place like the obituary page. But, when we at Rumor Mill News make a mistake, which is so rare that we can count them on our thumbs, we publish headlines!!!

This is the case with today's correction.

On November 29, 1998, we published a story on the Furby, "Is the Furby a Diabolical Plan to Create a Docile Workforce?" In this very important t article we referred to the language of Furby's as "Furbese". I have since read an editorial in our local, esteemed newspaper, The San Francisco Chronicle, which states that the language of Furby's is "Furbish." Since the Chronicle NEVER makes mistakes on matters of this import, RMNews is going to defer to their much superior, i.e. larger and better paid, news gathering force, and call the language of Furby's, "Furbish".

Several of my readers wrote back and asked me what a Furby was. These are the readers that need to be emulated by all of us. By their very question, they have shown us that they have followed our advice, and "Killed their Televisions". More than likely, they don't even read or listen to the controlled media diatribe.

RMNews salutes these readers. However, in the interest of education, I am attaching a picture of a Furby to this post. In the event that your child, inadvertently brings a Furby into your house, you will now be able to recognize it and deal with it appropriately.

We have also received several complaints from loyal readers stating that they have not been able to procure a Furby for testing. I was unsure from the tone of their letters, whether they had been beaten by activists from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), or if New World Order Agents had forcibly derailed our plans to run linguistics tests on Furby's. Whatever the case, our readers have not been able to buy Furby's.

Therefore, RMNews is coming to the rescue of all of you who wish to obtain a Furby, legally, for testing purposes. (FURBY PROCUREMENT NUMBER DELETED)
