Here's the thing:

It's been known for some time that there appears to be a correlation between government-mandated dowsing of cows with pesticide (to combat "warble fly") and Mad Cow symptoms in the treated animals.

This parallels the ongoing disputation between the "official" version of HIV->AIDS, and the Rethinkers' position that "AIDS is not a transmissible disease but instead is caused by excessive body burdens of better-living-through-chemistry substances".

Parkinson's Disease, it's admitted (not disputed), is often caused by "necessary" pharmaceutical drugs. It's because the doctors truly believe the drugs are "necessary" that they downplay the connection between their prescriptions and Parkinson's - in other words, they're thinking, "Not everyone gets Parkinson's from this; the risk is outweighed by the benefits - and if we don't give this patient the benefits, that would be much worse than the risk of getting Parkinson's."

Hulda Clark continues to find that _most_ diseases are arising from a combination of "compromised elements of immune function, stemming from intoxication by solvents and/or heavy metals", and "parasite infestation, made possible by the compromise of immune function".

I'm having considerable difficulty believing this "prion" model, but let's for the moment say it's accurate. What _else_ might be going on, to allow for infestation and devastation by prions?

Compromised immune function, right?

The researchers are saying, "Yes, the body's immune system doesn't mount a defense against this particular invader" - but they can only know that this is what has occurred, in actual cases (and probably after autopsy) - because it's highly unlikely they've deliberately infected anyone with prions, to see what happens. What they "know", then, is that this has been the fact, only in those cases they have studied.

So - why the immume compromise? Where's _that_ coming from?

Pesticides? Solvents? Heavy metals? Aspartame? Chlorine and fluoride? Dental mercury? Ritalin? Prozac? Hypertension medications? Cellphones?

I don't know, but possibly "all the above" - and these are the things that are making enormous profits for somebody and therefore "ought not be interfered with" or even revealed to us, knowing that massive litigation would probably ensue, if we understood where the problem is actually coming from.

In a minute or two, some clever guy will probably tell us he's found a miraculous method to "save us" from Mad Cow. My guess is his method will involve a wonderful new use for radioactive toxic wastes from the industry he's being paid by: "Sure - all we gotta do is irradiate all the meat!" :)
