Er...but, well, I think you're saying, "The Potter books _could_ be exactly what the article writer is alleging", right? Not that you've researched the article writer's charges, and agree that the books _are_ what's being alleged?

The 'draco' thing is, of course, Latin; and all it means is, "Never tickle a sleeping dragon." (Good advice. :)

When that article was making the rounds a few months ago, I asked a good friend of mine, someone who both is Christian enough to avoid Yoga (seeing it as an aspect of a non-Christian religion) and also teaches piano to girls at the age where they'd find the Potter books interesting. My friend took a look at the books first-hand, and declared them, "Wonderful!" She offered the opinion that the writer of the article quite probably has never read one of the books.

I find it highly implausible that these world-famous books contain language that leads to kids' actually saying, "Jesus was a wimp!" I think there would've been much more uproar about that by now if it were so.
