I was able to see the video.

I thought it sounded like the guy was reading from a script, word for word. It didn't sound like he was giving a lecture and speaking off the top of his head.

Also, I am skeptical of someone with a working-class accent supposedly being a military higher-up in charge of such a big black ops project. They assigned Project Helter Skelter to Tony from Queens? Fuggetaboutit. The fact that the video was shot in New York, and the narrator had a New York accent, suggests the "producers" of the film were cheap--in other words, they live there.

Although, the scenario is right up there with my current state of paranoia, regarding the shock troop angle. But then there is the too-obvious angle of a white woman getting gang raped. Corny.

Plus, I don't think it's as easy to start a race war as people like the "producers" and Charles Manson think. Why would anyone believe blacks and whites would go nuts against each other on New Year's Eve?

Unless the "news coming in from Europe and Africa" that the narrator mentioned concerned an ethnic cleansing push against blacks (for instance) worldwide. But then again, how could such a complicated event unfold and be reported such that revelers in Times Sqare would learn of it within a matter of hours? It couldn't.

Unless we are talking about a more clear-cut and rapid event, like a nuclear strike scenario. But then, if blacks are the target, that strike would only be against Africa, and couldn't involve Europe--nukes aren't exactly ethnically targeted weapons. On the other hand, if the ethnic cleansing were against whites, that would involve targeting both Europe and parts of Africa, and that would correlate with the narrative. But let me see a show of hands from those who think a worldwide war against whites is a possibility? Yeah, I didn't think so. Do you think Russia would stand for that? China and what other army would be capable of it? And also, the reporting would take more than just a couple of hours. Think about it. It would take hours just to fly or drive out to where a nuclear strike occurred. The reporters who might have lived there would be dead and without power.

There is no probable scenario that fits.

A small-scale race riot is a possibility, but I see no way it could be tied in with events in the rest of the world.

I am sensing a weak premise to this movie.
