4 Cancers Diagnosed 1MONTH after "Clean Bill of Health"

Apparently Mr. Shramek was diagnosed with brain, bone, liver and lung cancers only one month following a documented physical which had only cited blood pressure problems. This check-up was mid 2/2000, the 4 cancers were diagnosed mid 3/2000. Two months later Mr. Shramek expired.

Chuck did have some health problems, he had a heart attack a few years ago, he had back problems, he was a former smoker, this is all true. In mid February he had a complete physical. He even posted about it in CTTUSA at the time. He got a "clean bill of health" with the exception of watching his blood pressure and his nagging occasional back problems. His heart was doing ok. In mid March, my best friend was diagnosed with bone, liver, lung and brain cancer. Yesterday morning he died.

Do I think the cancer and its rapid, destructive growth is suspicious, yes. Will we ever be able to prove it, doubtful. Will I stop my own work because of fear of what happened to him, not on your life, or mine. And for the record, I am now in excellent health. I have absolutely no health problems and a very good immune system. So if someday soon, people are asking these same questions about me, you will have your answer.

Death Notices/Obituaries - CHUCK SHRAMEK, noted radio personality, died Tuesday, May 23, 2000 in Houston, Texas, after a brief fight with cancer. Chuck was born in Des Moines, Iowa on December 27, 1950. Chuck will be remembered by his wife, Kathryn Fitzgerald Shramek, his son David Shramek of Austin, and his sister Margaret Joynt of Yakima, Washington, many friends, along with his very large Houston radio family.
