US film director Oliver Stone on Thursday said that the monitoring system implemented by the Obama administration is worse than terrible East German secret police Stasi.

On filming the festival in San Sebastian, where he presented his film "Snowden," Stone said many in the United States live in the illusion that Obama is a man of great integrity.
