The allies are solidary but restrained

The verbal world conflict between Russia on the one hand and the United Kingdom and its allies on the other hand continues.

France, Germany and the United States express full solidarity with the UK, but their support is declarative and of no great significance. Indeed justified by diplomatic protocols, Russia asks Britain to prove its allegations of a direct link between the Kremlin and the "Skripal" case. Russian ambassador to London confirmed that a total of 23 Russian diplomats who were expelled from Great Britain, March 20, to leave this country. Together with them, there go to their families, so that the United Kingdom has deported some eighty Russian diplomats and nationals with this act.

Jeremy Corbyn, the voice of reason

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters that Russia would adequately respond to this kind of London behavior, but also stopped paying attention to the charges against Russia. Labor leader Jeremy Corby has called for a reduction in tensions and warned that no verdicts would be delivered without any evidence. On Friday, former mayor of London, and currently state secretary for foreign affairs Boris Johnson, publicly accused Russia's President Vladimir Putin of standing behind the attack on Skripala. The Russians answered him by declaring his statement "inexcusable". UK Prime Minister Theresa May, in addressing Parliament, said the Russians are capable of such attacks. As for the expulsion of 23 Russian diplomats, she said it was spying, that is, intelligence staff.

The Russians deny any connection with the attack

Spokesperson of President Dimitry Peskov told reporters that Russia had nothing to do with the attack, and that Britain violated international laws and protocols. Peskov claims that the political top of Russia is unclear why the United Kingdom behaves this way, ie, what motives lie between decisions that are against international law but also with common sense.

"Extreme Intellectual Impotence"?

Nevertheless, the most interesting thought is found in the statement of the Russian Defense Ministry that the behavior of British politicians in this crisis situation reveals their "extreme intellectual impotence".

Given the fact that the author of the Statement of "Extreme Intellectual Impotence" by the Russian Defense Ministry, we could say that this is a very open provocation. Meanwhile, Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia are in a critical but stable state of health. Britain claims that the "Novichok" nerve agent, which was still produced in the Soviet Union, was used in the attack on former Skripal two-agent agent. Russia wants to join the investigation, but from London still refuse any cooperation. Whether it is "extreme intellectual impotence", or something else, judge yourself.
