It may not be significantly related to the death of Justice Scalia, but you may recall the uproar over the Randy and Evi Quaid arrests in Marfa, Texas, the town just a short distance from where Justice Scalia was found dead. West Texas and Big Bend area are known for lots of hunting, etc..

Also, here is a link which bluntly articulates that U.S. Supreme Court Justice was found dead on a west Texas ranch. The ranch is about 35 miles south of Marfa, Texas.

Not to be terminally paranoid or anything, but it really doesn't seem to be a world where important persons like powerful judges, etc., can afford to take casual hunting trips anymore. It really does appear that there may be just to many 'snags' out there for important good folks to do such stuff.
