Chandra Levy is missing.

Barbra Stresiand is now irrelevant and mighty upset about it: Janet Reno is irrelevant but doesn't know it yet; Barbara Boxer was irrelevant and has recently become "relevant," again. Why?

Because Chandra Levy is missing.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is famous and comfortably ensconced in the U.S. Senate, and has her new house in D.C. cooking (no doubt, with free use of the kitchen pots, pans, utensils and tableware she 'liberated' from the White House). No one is suggesting that she is actually doing any cooking, herself, mind you.

Monica Lewinsky is famous and an A-list social butterfly in the New York circles of high-tone Democratic Party position-takers, political operators and their fashionista mavens. Whatever else she did, she didn't end up like --

Mary C. Mahoney, 'the Lesbian Avenger,' who is dead. Ron Brown, the Friend of Bubba and globe-trotting Secretary of Commerce, who is dead. Barbara Wise, his secretarial assistant, who is dead. Vincent W. Foster, Jr., the best friend of Bubba and Deputy White House Counsel, who is dead. John F. Kennedy, Jr., who was either going to challenge Hillary Rotten for the Senate in New York, or not, and who is remarkably dead (as are the Sisters Bessette, who took that plane ride with him).

Diana, Princess of Wales, and the best, true branch of Anglo-Norman nobility -- is dead. Nicole Brown Simpson is still dead. Chandra Levy is missing. But is she dead?

Anyone who thinks that this slow-moving civil war, which began with the raid on the Branch Davidian compound in April of 1993, and which erupted into a full-scale factional feud on April 17th of 1995, when a missile or a bomb killed Clark Fiester and Air Force Maj. Gen. Glen A. Proffit II, near Alexander City, Alabama, isn't as bloody as any previous war, hasn't been drinking High Test. Time to put down the Decaf, dear friends.

THIS IS WAR -- AND WAR MEANS BATTLES, FIGHTING, KILLING AND MORE.

The idea that Chandra Levy would pack her bags, then exit her apartment without taking her wallet or her cellular phone with her, in order to run away from the rejections of Gary Condit is absolutely absurd. Either she was grabbed and taken to an abortionist against her will (the "Gary, honey, I have a little surprise for you" theory), or she was grabbed and hustled off to one or another re-education centers operated by whichever of the secret units of the secret armies that her work at the Federal Bureau of Prisons threatened; or she fell victim to a serial killer who has struck at least twice in the D.C. area before.

Personally, my choice is part two, the idea that she had stumbled onto something -- perhaps inadvertently -- which revealed one or another of the twisted strands in the Gordian knot of McVeigh, Oklahoma City, and that giant federal cover-up and FBI SNAFU.

She may not have even known or understood what it was that she had uncovered: the timing is too ripe, her disappearance comes too closely upon this whole FBI/missing files scandal/McVeigh execution thing to be ignored. Mary C. Mahony, despite the incredible efforts made to tailor the facts of her murder to fit a poor criminal slob who never grabbed more than $500 in his whole stupidly-lived life, was murdered because she was going to blow the whistle on sexual harrassment in the White House, in the summer of 1997. Whether it was Bill Clinton's perpetual fondling of the hired help, or whether it was lesbian adventuring among the Rodham Posse, is something we will probably never know.

What we do know is that three young women, starry-eyed with the concept of working in Bill Clinton's Washington, went to D.C. to become federal interns. One is dead, murdered execution-style, ostensibly by a greedy young black man who wasn't smart enough to take thousands of dollars in cash receipts with him after killing her and two others; one was nearly ruined and turned into the butt of endless off-color jokes; and one is gone missing. Now Marcia Lewis's lawyer (the former Mrs. Lewinsky, mother of Monica the beautiful), is going to bat for the Levy family.

They say that Federal Witness Protection can hide any person in plain sight: it appears that, as Faction One grinds through this bloody party purge, Full Darkness can descend even unto and upon those in the center of the limelight. These are interesting times, and we are in the center of the most perilous hours.

And Chandra Levy is still missing. So what?

Faction One is, meanwhile, in the middle phases of a full-blown, Marxist-Leninist "party purge." The FBI has been blown to pieces by the eruption of the controversies over the missing McVeigh files and

: How many others are there that cannot be publicly
: identified due to National Security?

: The information about these FBI scandals began to surface once
: Clinton was out of office and his hand picked men inside
: the FBI no longer had the power they once had... carte
: blanche power... license to kill power...

: I can’t help but wonder if the problems that are befalling the
: FBI right now have anything to do with the vendetta that
: Gunther and his associates had against certain FBI/NWO
: types. Gunther’s associates are still active in and out of
: government. They went into hiding to stay alive during the
: Clinton years. Are they beginning to surface? Is this what
: we are seeing?

: When Tony Coehlo was managing Gore’s campaign, and small
: scandals were leaking out day by day about Coehlo’s
: mishandling of government funds, I wondered if some of
: Gunther’s friends were behind “Coehlo’s second downfall”.

: Gary Condit is now mired in the limelight of scandal, and it
