WHY DO I ONLY SEND EMAILS TO RMNEWS UPDATES?

Many of you know that I have been having problems...

It all started about six weeks ago... and it continues.

The computer I use to do my webpage began to get so slow that my husband bought me a new computer for my birthday!

The new computer destroyed two moniters and two modems.

I took it back and exchanged it... needless to say, days of work installing programs and transferring files was lost.

After I had the new computer set up and working, I discovered that I couldn't get on the Internet.

After about 40 hours on the telephone with Compaq and Mindspring, I have just given up!

I realize that there is NOTHING wrong with this computer or with my other computers! I can get on the Internet sometimes, sometimes I can't.

If other things weren't happening at this same time, I would think that it was an Internet problem.

But...

My fax machine only works when it wants to.

My phone message center only takes the messages it WANTS to take.

My private home phone rings through to the message center when the caller is someone like Les Coleman! It does this even when I am at home.

I never know if my emails will reach the people I send them to.

Some emails have arrived FOUR days late! Others have had words deleted, which changed the entire meaning!

A letter from San Francisco, with a check in it took over a month to get to me. I live less than 90 miles from San Francisco... the letter should have arrived the next day!!

I am NOT able to gain access to the web control part of my webpage. My friend who taught me how to build webpages is able to access the control section of MY webpage. She uses the same ID and password that I try to use. SHE can gain access and I can't!!

I also cannot make "owner changes" on my Yahoo Groups... Even though I am the one who started these pages, I am told that I am NOT an authorized user!

As a result, I can add no new members to the mailing list. I cannot delete obnoxious members, I cannot make anyone a moderator, I cannot approve pending emails... etc...

I also cannot gain access to the EZ boards... so far nothing has gone wrong there that has to be fixed... thank god!!

About the only thing I can do is send emails to the YahooGroups. Even though they say I am NOT a member who is authorized to make changes, the emails still go through.

Needless to say, I have NO idea why this is happening now, and I have NO idea how much longer I am going to be banned from my own webpage...

I forgot to say... I CAN'T EVEN POST ON MY OWN FORUM!!!

Can you imagine how frustrating this is for me? I have my hands tied behind my back...

So... for a while, the only place you will find me on a regular basis is on the RMNews Updates!!

AND... if you send an email and I don't reply... I may never have received it!
