I don't really think what I am experiencing is so much a "zoning out" but more so a shutting down. I actually enjoy READING the Bible for MYSELF. It is when the Bible or so-called Christian arguments are used in such a way as to stop discussion by labeling anyone who would disagree as "satanic" this is usually done in a subtle NOT overt way.

Thank you for making the above point as that was the whole point of my original letter. What I was trying to say is that there IS a mind control element to this, and in my case it came via religious conditioning, and I suspect that this has happened to others as well. I feel that the knowledge that this programming exists in many of us is being USED against us by people pretending to be "Christian." It serves to shut us down in discussion, research etc. etc.

I have examined this thought very carefully and I must still say, it all goes back to the religious programming.

Here is where we get to the crux of the whole thing. WHO ARE "THEY?"

I suppose that is what most of us on this forum ask everyday, is is not? What I am trying to convey is that "THEY" know that many of us have this religious programming intact and that "THEY" are using it to shut us down when we are getting too close to the truth.

What I am sharing here is my personal experience with this reaction. The reaction to views that are being expressed as Christian views, but in fact may not be Christian views, but may be a way to trigger pre-existing programming in order to shut those of us with this programming down.

I have heard an old Catholic saying: 'Give us your children for the first seven years and they are ours forever.'

While I am not nearly as eloquent as many who post on this forum are, what I am trying to say is that it seems to me that the exact same powers that every one of us are working to expose, may be right before our eyes, on many of these forums and mailing lists, POSING as Christians.

Again, this is not to be confused with persons of faith who are sincere in their beliefs about the teachings of Christ.

I would appreciated knowing if anyone else has had these reactions? Perhaps I am the lone ranger out here?
