First I must apologize if I have misrepresented this post. I did not write it and would like to acknowledge the composer's well-thought piece. I was asked to post it by the owner of this forum because of some temporary net problems they were having. I share your feelings about its insight and courage. Unfortunately, the individual who wrote this does not post on RMN and so cannot respond directly. However, I believe it was written in response to what was going on on here. It is my conjecture that the writer thought it might help us identify the pieces of our inability to adequately communicate, and has apparently done so.

In the spirit of your questing, however, I will comment on some of your post from my point of view, which in any case, will likely be very different from the original author:

You think that is a 'bad' outcome? While the experience itself is undoubtedly miserable, learning to zone out the programming that keeps us in bondage would seem a good thing to me.

Alpha waves are also experienced in the Meditative state and are normal to Mind. They are not something to be feared but something to be practiced until Mind can 'own' them. The Dalai Lhama is an example of someone who has attained this mastery. Mind control is not something that suddenly comes upon us when an Agent walks in the room and proceeds to take over our minds, but is practiced from the moment we are born. It is only with industrious mental disciplines that we can overturn this original programming and return to freedom. Of course, this is like being born again.
