: The proof comes in the form of a sophisticated digital
: analysis of police radio communications recorded at the
: exact moment of the assassination.

: By correlating and triangulating the sounds from the
: recordings, Thomas claims that there is a 96.3 percent
: chance that there were two gunmen, and that one was
: positioned on the knoll.

: Thomas published his findings in the latest edition of the
: British Forensic Science Society's journal.

: This new evidence backs up eye witness claims of an unknown
: gunman shooting from that location -- claims that have
: hitherto been dismissed in official investigations. The
: anomalous sounds on the recordings were previously
: dismissed as just radio static by the US National Research
: Council.

: findings of a US Congress Select Committee investigation
: which, in 1978, concluded that the assassination of JFK was
