This story makes it pretty clear that the Government is feeding us what it wants us to believe. And if they are doing it on it this, they are doing it on everything else! A 'breaking news' site such as RMN, and even CNN (when they do their REAL job), are always going to report it as it comes in and the rest of us can glean what we will. Sometimes within this kind of reporting comes the little surprise'jewels' like, for instance, the doomed Egypt Air's stop at Edwards Air Force Base. They scrambled so hard to cover up that one! But if on-the-spot reporting hadn't been happening, we would never have found out the truth buried in all the hype.
Which brings up another point. Instead of unduly criticizing
RMN for its 'on-the-ball' reporting, Ms. Rachel might have bothered to read between the lines and see the obvious. That she didn't, seems to discredit the agency she works for.
One can't help but suspect that these comments are either from 'jealousy' or as a means to discredit. The savvy Internet Minded KNOW what the rogue governments are up to. Those coming in new to the process will be fooled a time or two before they wise up. That's how we all learn, I guess.
Anyway, Rayelan, don't take it to heart. If you don't have some critics then you're not doing your job!
