GENERAL ALERT AND CALL TO ACTION
OF THE 55TH DAY OF IBT STAND

The IBT leadership has received reports from reliable sources high up in the Justice Department that the raid on IBT will come before Jan. 20th when George W. Bush will be sworn in as the 43rd President of the United States of America.

The imminent raid is planned as the last thing the Clinton Administration does before leaving office. It has been reported that the Clinton Administration has said their number one enemy was the fundamental Christian. This is a vindictive, power mad plan to crush a New Testament Church that dared to challenge the actions of Janet Reno and her boss, Bill Clinton. The President has become an expert in using the IRS against those with whom he disagrees.

The same administration that began by ordering the raid and resulting deaths of 82 men, women, and children at Waco, Texas is leaving office with the destruction of a main line, 50 year old Baptist Church. This is the beginning of the destruction of all the fundamental Christian Churches in America. Using the precedent of this case, the IRS is already moving on other churches and Christian ministries across the nation. Destroying Bible believing churches is not a new concept. Their idea of destroying one of the largest leading fundamental churches is not a new concept. The communist nations have said they believe in Religious freedom with one side of their mouth while destroying the dissenting, unregistered churches. 1500 of these types of churches were destroyed in China just before Christmas.

Some Congressmen and Senators are studying and speaking about religious persecution in China and India. We invite them to come to IBT and see first hand the religious persecution in America. This is not a tax issue, it is a control issue. This is not only a First Amendment issue, but also a first Commandment issue.

IBT is issuing a call for all interested parties to come and stand with them in this battle. This is a peaceful Redress of Grievance. All who will stand with IBT on this basis are urged to come and stand with the Church.
